You’re their biggest fan. You Want to Help, and We'll Show You How.
Learn how to support your athlete's mental game, without adding pressure or saying the wrong thing.
You've watched your athlete crumble after a mistake. You've seen them psych themselves out before a big game. You've heard them say "I can't do this" and felt helpless to fix it.
You want to help. But sometimes the more you try, the worse it gets. You're not sure what to say. You're not sure when to push and when to back off. You're worried you're part of the problem.
You're not alone. And you don't have to figure this out on your own.
How We Support Parents
Parent involvement is a key part of how we work. When your athlete is in one of our programs, you're not on the outside looking in — you're part of the team. If your athlete isn't with us yet, there's still a path for you.
Parent Check-Ins
Built into every 1:1 Athlete Program · Bi-Weekly · 15–20 Minutes
Quick, focused touchpoints throughout your athlete's coaching program. We'll keep you informed on what we're working on, what's clicking, and where your athlete is stretching, and give you specific, sport-specific ways to reinforce those skills at home without overstepping.
- Clarity on what your athlete is learning in each phase of the program
- Specific phrases and prompts to use at home, in the car, and after games
- Confidence that you're reinforcing, not contradicting, the work we're doing
Standalone 1:1 Parent Sessions
60-Minute Private Sessions · Single or 4-Session Series
Personal, one-on-one coaching focused entirely on you, your athlete, your dynamic, and your specific situation. The right starting point if your athlete isn't ready for coaching yet, or if you want to sharpen your own tools to lead from home.
- Get unstuck from a specific challenge, the post-game shutdown, the sideline meltdown, the pre-game pressure spiral
- Learn the G.R.I.T. Framework at their own pace
- Build their toolkit before or alongside their athlete's coaching
- A clear plan tailored to your athlete's age, sport, and personality
- Scripts and language for the moments that matter most
- A confident sense of when to step in and when to step back
Parent Workshop Series
4-Week Group Workshop · 60 Minutes/Session · 6–8 Parents
A small-group program that walks you through the full G.R.I.T. Framework alongside other sports parents who get it. Each week tackles one pillar of the framework, with practical language, real scenarios, and tools you can put into practice the same day.
Week 1 — Ground Your Mind: Separating your athlete's worth from their wins.
Week 2 — Reframe Your Voice: The exact language that builds confidence vs. quietly tears it down.
Week 3 — Ignite Under Pressure: Managing your own nerves on the sideline.
Week 4 — Transform Through Setbacks: How to respond after tough games — without fixing or rescuing.
- A parent workbook with weekly exercises and reflection prompts
- Quick reference cards for post-game conversations
- A parent commitment card to keep you grounded all season
- A shared vocabulary with other parents walking the same path
Parent Workshops for Teams
Add-on session paired with team programming
When your athlete's team or club is working with us, we can add a dedicated parent session so everyone, athletes, coaches, and parents are reinforcing the same language and tools. The result: less mixed messaging, more alignment, and a stronger team culture from the ground up.
- Teams already enrolled in our 4-Week Team Series or Season-Long Partnership
- Clubs that want parents pulling in the same direction as coaches
What You'll Learn
We'll give you the tools to navigate the highs and lows of your athlete's journey — built around the same G.R.I.T. Framework your athlete is learning.
When you and your athlete are running the same playbook, the work compounds. That's the goal.
Ground Your Mind
How to separate your athlete's worth from their wins — and how your own self-talk shapes theirs more than you realize.
Reframe Your Voice
The exact words to use (and the ones to skip) before, during, and after competition. Including how to handle the car ride home after wins, losses, and mistakes.
Ignite Under Pressure
How to manage your own nerves on the sideline so you're not unintentionally handing them to your athlete. What to say in high-pressure moments — and what to keep to yourself.
Transform Through Setbacks
How to support your athlete's bounce-back without fixing, rescuing, or replaying the game. The art of being a safe place to land.

This is something we can train together.
Questions we hear all of the time
-
This is more common than you think, especially with teen athletes. The shutdown is usually about pressure, not about you. We'll teach you how to open conversations without forcing them, and how to be a safe place to land, rather than one more voice telling them what to do.
-
It's actually a great starting point. Self-awareness is the hardest part. Most parents care deeply and accidentally add pressure by trying to help. Athletes are resilient, and your willingness to learn is already a step in the right direction. Learning a few specific tools changes everything.
-
That's up to you, but we generally recommend yes, framed as you wanting to learn how to support them better. It often opens the door to your athlete being more receptive to coaching of their own.
-
Sessions are private to give your athlete space to be honest. But we'll keep you in the loop through parent check-ins and give you specific ways to help at home.
-
Then start with our 1:1 athlete coaching. Parent sessions can be added on, or you can wait and see what your athlete needs as the program unfolds.
-
That's okay. Sometimes, a parent session is the best first step; you can learn tools to shift the environment at home, which often opens the door for your athlete.
-
Books are great. They're also generic. We work specifically in youth sports performance, with your athlete's actual situation, and with the same framework your athlete is learning. Alignment is the difference.
